operational principle
The water tank type wire drawing machine is a small continuous production equipment composed of multiple drawing heads. Through step-by-step drawing, the drawing head is placed in the water tank, and then the steel wire is pulled to the required specifications. From the perspective of several major domestic water tank wire drawing machine manufacturers, they generally have around 20 drawing heads. After each level of drawing, the wire diameter of the steel wire changes, so the working line speed of each drawing head should also change. During the entire drawing process, only one electric motor is needed to drive through mechanical transmission or gearbox. According to the different configuration of the drawing die, the drawing speed of each drawing head also needs to change. The benchmark for drawing speed is the constant volume of the steel wire passing through the drawing die at each moment, which means that the following equation must be true

The working speed of each drawing head of the water tank type wire drawing machine is based on the above formula to ensure synchronous operation of each drawing head. Due to the fact that the wire drawing process of the water tank type wire drawing machine is completely completed through mechanical shaft drawing, and these mechanical shafts are transmitted under the same main shaft, the entire stretching system relies on the speed difference of the stretching wheels and the tension on the line to control synchronous and coordinated work among all levels.
Cooling liquid is required for heat dissipation during work. The winding part is driven by one low-power electric motor, and the tension on the winding line needs to be kept constant during winding. If the tension fluctuates during this period, the winding on the I-shaped wheel of the winding will be uneven.
The winding process of the water tank type wire drawing machine is the core part of the control system of this equipment, which directly affects the quality of the steel wire. For winding, there are usually several control methods:
1) The tension roller is used for adjustment, and the tension during winding is ensured by the weight of the tension roller itself.
2) By using torque control, the tension during winding is determined by the given magnitude of the torque, but it may lead to uneven winding tension due to changes in coil diameter.
